NCM calls on public to stay away from flash flood areas

ABU DHABI (ALETIHAD)

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) called on nationals and residents to excersice precautions should be taked in case of rainfall over some Eastern and Northern areas, advising the public to stay away from flash flood and accumlated rain areas. 

The NCM psoted the warning on its official “X” on Sunday: “Chance of convective clouds formation associated with rainfall and fresh to strong winds at times causing blowing dust with a speed of 50 km/hr over some Eastern and Northern areas from 13:00 until 20:00 Sunday 06/10/2024.”
