H.H. Sheikha Mariam bint Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice Chairperson of the Education, Human Resources and Community Development Council, said that the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to designate February 28 as "Emirati Day for Education" send a message of appreciation to everyone working in the sector.
Speaking on the occasion, H.H. Sheikha Mariam bint Mohamed said, “The announcement of February 28 as Emirati Day for Education is a message of appreciation to everyone working in the sector, and to those who shared our humble beginnings and those who continue to work diligently, with commitment and dedication to build positive models that meet our national aspirations and inspire our students—our hope and future leaders.”
“The vision of the wise leadership inspires our strategies for planning a future where education is integrated with human development and community development, allowing us to create an empowering cohesive community and a sustainable future for generations to come. A future that reflects our identity, enriches our culture, and enhances our values,” H.H. Sheikha Mariam bint Mohamed added.
H.H. Sheikha Mariam bint Mohamed stated, “Education is the beacon of nations and the path to human advancement; it is the foundation of development and the architect of the future. The UAE recognises the vital role education plays in building a positive present that transforms challenges into opportunities thus, opening avenues for students to acquire skills, draw from the well of knowledge, and preserve what we have achieved during our journey of transformation from the past to the present.”
