Diplomatic Adviser to the UAE President, Dr. Anwar Gargash, met Josep Borrell, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission.
The meeting discussed issues of mutual concern, emphasising the importance of ensuring regional stability.
The two highlighted the importance of de-escalation and promoting political and diplomatic solutions to address the current crises, while stressing the significance of prioritising humanitarian aspects to alleviate the suffering caused by the ongoing conflicts in the region.
They also discussed prospects for boosting the ties and cooperation between the UAE and the European Union.
The meeting was attended by Luigi Di Maio, EU Special Representative for the Gulf region, and Lucie Berger, Ambassador of the European Union to the UAE.
