Abdul Rahman Ali Al Marri Al Neyadi, the newly appointed UAE Ambassador to Canada, and Ahmed Abdul Rahman Ahmed Al Mahmoud, the newly appointed UAE Ambassador to the Republic of Portugal, were sworn in on Monday before President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The ceremony took place in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs.

During the oath-taking ceremony, held at Qasr Al Bahr in Abu Dhabi, His Highness extended his best wishes to the ambassadors, expressing his hope for their success in their new roles.
The ambassadors expressed their pride in the trust placed in them by the country’s leadership, affirming their commitment to working diligently and sincerely to strengthen and further develop the UAE’s relations with the respective countries in which they will serve.
The oath-taking ceremony was also attended by Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Advisor for Special Affairs at the Ministry of Presidential Court; Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar, Minister of State, and Noura bint Mohammed Al Kaabi, Minister of State.
