The Saif bin Zayed Academy for Security and Policing Sciences at the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters celebrated the graduation of the first cohort of participants in the specialised training programme on scientific research methods, held in collaboration with TRENDS Research and Advisory.
Major General Thani bin Butti Al-Shamsi, Director of the Saif bin Zayed Academy for Security and Policing Sciences, congratulated the participants, emphasising Abu Dhabi Police’s commitment to leveraging the programme’s outcomes to achieve future aspirations in the fields of scientific research.
He praised the collaboration and partnership with TRENDS Research and Advisory in developing this advanced programme, highlighting its significance in enhancing the research capabilities of the Academy’s participants and providing them with advanced skills in analysis and critical thinking according to the latest global best practices.
Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali, CEO of TRENDS, congratulated the graduates and appreciated the collaboration and partnership with the Saif bin Zayed Academy, which is considered one of the leading institutions specialised in security training. He commended the batch for their dedication and commitment to acquiring the knowledge and skills that will enable them to continuously improve in their work.
He noted the importance of the programme in achieving aspirations in policing and security work, thereby strengthening the efforts made by Abu Dhabi Police to maintain security and safety. He also praised the efforts made by the Saif bin Zayed Academy to provide opportunities for professional and practical development.
Dr. Al-Ali said that TRENDS is continuously developing its training programmes and is committed to equipping trainees with the best tools and skills to meet contemporary demands. The Centre’s team of specialised trainers possesses extensive theoretical and practical expertise in research methodology, aiming to equip researchers with the skills and tools necessary for exploration, innovation, and the ability to foresee future developments.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, Major General Thani bin Butti Al-Shamsi and Dr. Mohammed Al-Ali honoured the course graduates and trainers, presenting them with graduation and appreciation certificates.
