During the meetings, they discussed ways to enhance existing cooperation between the UAE and the respective countries in various fields, particularly parliamentary relations.

The discussions also highlighted the strategic partnerships between the friendly countries in sectors such as trade, energy, culture, and education, emphasising that high-level reciprocal visits between the governments contributed to advancing these relations to broader horizons.

Saqr Ghobash stressed the importance of developing parliamentary relations between the FNC and the parliaments of friendly countries.

He noted that parliamentary diplomacy is a key tool in strengthening cooperation and supporting joint efforts in international forums, especially regarding peace and international security.

“Given the current global developments and challenges, this requires unified positions and approaches on various issues,” he added.
