The UAE's Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA), in collaboration with the National Search and Rescue Centre of the National Guard, successfully conducted a medical evacuation mission for an Emirati citizen after she sustained serious injuries in a traffic accident in Ibri in Oman, the MoFA said in a post on the X social media platform.
"She was transferred from the accident site to Ibri Hospital to receive the necessary treatment," the statement said.
The MoFA said: "With the cooperation and support of the Omani authorities, the Emirati citizen was airlifted via the National Guard search and rescue aircraft to the UAE to complete her treatment."

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its appreciation for the distinguished efforts of the Omani authorities in making the medical evacuation mission a success.
The Ministry also urged all UAE citizens to exercise caution and vigilance while on road and to adhere to traffic laws.
