The Fujairah Culture and Media Authority concluded a five-day “Official Spokesperson” course organised in collaboration with TRENDS Research and Advisory. The course was delivered by journalist and media professional Faisal bin Huraiz, a programme presenter at Sky News Arabia, as part of an initiative to develop skills and enhance capabilities.

Held at the Double Tree Hotel in Fujairah from July 1 to 5, the course targeted directors of government departments and section heads in the Emirate of Fujairah. It included basic skills for media performance, media strategy development, and training to overcome spokesperson stress and anxiety. 

Other topics covered were skills for understanding the audience, voice modulation techniques, reading and improvisation skills, interviewing techniques, the methodology and contexts of the official spokesperson, script, and speech writing, understanding audience needs, and content writing development.

After the course, His Excellency Nasser Al-Yamahi, Executive Director of the Fujairah Culture and Media Authority, and Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali, CEO of TRENDS Research and Advisory, distributed accredited graduation certificates and commemorative shields to the graduates. They wished the participants continued progress and success in their professional careers.
