Reem Al Hashemi, Minister of State for International Cooperation, and Ahmed Al Sayegh, Minister of State, held a meeting today on 18 April 2024, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Abu Dhabi with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Romanian Republic, Luminita Odubescu, where the discussions focused on enhancing economic growth, expanding potential investment between the two countries, and addressing regional challenges.



The meeting affirmed the commitment between the United Arab Emirates and Romania to strengthen bilateral relations and explore ways of mutual growth. The two sides emphasized the vast potential for cooperation between the two countries in various sectors, including trade, investment, technology, artificial intelligence, and infrastructure.



The discussions also focused on regional issues of common interest, including security and stability in the Middle East and Eastern Europe. The two sides affirmed their commitment to strengthening dialogue, cooperation, and resolving conflicts by peaceful means to confront common challenges and promote peace and prosperity in the region.



The meeting yielded fruitful results and paved the way for enhancing cooperation and collaboration in areas of common interest between the two friendly countries.
