The Traffic and Patrols Directorate of the Abu Dhabi Police (ADP), in collaboration with the Security Media Department at the ADP General Headquarters, launched traffic awareness videos using 3D CGI graphics technology for visual effects.



These videos are shared on their social media platforms to showcase images of high quality that accurately represent real-life situations.



Director of the Traffic and Patrols Directorate, Brigadier General Mahmoud Yousef Al Balushi, emphasised ADP's commitment to utilising the latest technologies and smart solutions to promote traffic awareness, enhance security efforts, and increase competitiveness in line with the organisation's vision and strategy to provide smart and interactive government services. He highlighted the importance of creativity, innovation, and smart solutions in achieving these goals.



Al Balushi explained that the goal of the 3D CGI videos is to deepen traffic awareness, promote positive behaviours, and encourage individuals to contribute to a safe traffic environment. This effort aligns with ADP's strategic priorities of road security, enhancing traffic awareness, and enforcing traffic regulations.



Director of the Digital Traffic Awareness and Education Project, Major Ahmed Abdullah Al Muhairi, stated that using 3D graphics technology for traffic awareness videos is a modern approach to reaching diverse segments of society.



The videos will cover various topics such as the dangers of road distractions, vehicle maintenance, risks of sudden deviation, pedestrian safety, electric bicycle safety, and safe driving practices during unstable weather conditions.
