HALA AL KHAYYAT (ABU DHABI)

The Abu Dhabi Housing Authority (ADHA) launched an initiative for people of determination and senior citizens with the aim of providing housing services to them and providing the necessary support and facilities at their place of residence.
ADHA is keen to provide distinctive services for people of determination, as it currently provides these services through the Abu Dhabi Housing Centre’s fast track system for people of determination and senior citizens, so that they can complete the required procedures, and obtain all the information from qualified and specialised employees who have been trained to provide these kinds of services.

The Authority called on senior citizens and people of determination to obtain support and facilities while they are at their residence by calling 800555.

ADHA takes into account providing services to all people of determination when designing the facilities in the housing that are provided to citizens as part of grants and new housing projects, such as elevators, paths, and bathrooms to ensure smooth mobility of people of determination and senior citizens at their homes, especially since its vision revolves around providing suitable housing for all citizens of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, compatible with their special needs and requirements. In 2023, a total of 52 citizens benefited from a ready-made housing grant. The number of beneficiaries of a residential land grant reached 388 citizens, and the total number of exemption requests for people of determination reached 1,298. The category of retirees constituted the highest category of exemption requests, as the number of their applications reached 845.

The Authority called for benefiting from the services provided by the Unified Centre for Housing Services, ‘’Abu Dhabi Housing’’, which brings together the services of the Authority and strategic partners, within one comprehensive platform that serves citizens entitled to housing benefits in the Emirate.
