The UAE Cyber Security Council has issued 'important alerts' for users of Apple devices and Google Chrome browser.
Taking to social media on Tuesday, the Cyber Security Council posted two alerts, the first one urging users to update their Apple Mac devices to macOS Sonoma 14 that has more than 60 security fixes (patches).
The alert said: "Apple has released macOS Sonoma 14, which includes more than 60 security fixes for various Mac models, including Mac Studio, iMac, Mac Pro, Mac mini, MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, and iMac Pro. The UAE Cyber Security Council recommends updating your devices immediately to ensure full protection."

The second alert advised Google Chrome users to update the popular browser to counter a security vulnerability:
"An urgent security vulnerability has been detected in #GoogleChrome that has already been exploited, potentially leading to application crashes or arbitrary code execution. The Cyber Security Council advises updating your browser to ensure complete protection."
