The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) has announced that Friday, September 29, will be a public holiday for federal government employees to mark the birthday of the Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him).

A circular in this regard was issued by the FAHR on social media today.

Residents can look forward to a three-day weekend next week.

This year's public holidays will end in December with Commemoration Day falling on December 1 (Friday), followed by National Day on December 2 (Saturday) and December 3 (Sunday).
