During the reception, Al Mulla was honoured in recognition of his latest world championship triumph, which further strengthens the UAE’s position on the international marine sports stage.

The reception celebrated Al Mulla’s exceptional achievement after he secured the world championship title with a perfect score of 100 points.

He claimed victory in both the opening round in Shanghai, China, and the second and final round in Olbia, Italy, collecting 50 points in each event.

Thani Al Qemzi, Executive Director of Team Abu Dhabi and Modern Marine Sports at Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club, emphasised that Al Mulla’s achievement is a source of immense pride for UAE sports and reflects the advanced level reached by Team Abu Dhabi athletes in international championships.

He also expressed his appreciation to Sheikh Mohammed bin Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, Chairman of the UAE Marine Sports Federation and Chairman of Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club, for his continuous support of the team and commitment to providing the resources and opportunities needed to compete for international titles.

Al Qemzi said: “We are extremely proud of Rashed Al Mulla’s latest world championship achievement and his seventh world title. This remarkable success is no coincidence, but rather the result of continuous hard work, determination and professionalism demonstrated by the champion, alongside the unwavering support provided to Team Abu Dhabi by the management of Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club.”

He added: “Rashed Al Mulla’s return home as a world champion is a proud moment for everyone involved in UAE marine sports. It demonstrates our ability to compete at the highest level and maintain our international achievements.”

The seventh world championship title marks another milestone in Al Mulla’s distinguished career.

Through his exceptional technical abilities and mastery of highly challenging freestyle manoeuvres and aerial jumps, he has firmly established himself at the forefront of international freestyle aquabike competition, further reinforcing Team Abu Dhabi’s outstanding presence in global marine sports championships.

This achievement also reflects the success of Team Abu Dhabi’s technical and administrative structure, as well as Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club’s continued commitment to supporting athletes and providing the foundations for success, contributing to the UAE’s growing presence on international podiums.
