KUUMAR SHYAM (ABU DHABI)

Former cricket stars from India, Pakistan, South Africa, Australia, England and West Indies will be seen in action at the World Championship of Legends in the UAE from October 3 to 18.

The upcoming season will feature former players Yuvraj Singh, AB de Villiers, DJ Bravo, Shahid Afridi and Moeen Ali, former Australia opening batsman David Warner and former Bangladesh all-rounder Mohammad Mahmudullah.

They will rub shoulders with Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn, the brainchild of the championship. The tournament previously held its first two editions across venues in England, including Edgbaston in Birmingham, Headingley in Leeds, Northampton and Leicester.

India won the inaugural tournament in 2024 by defeating their Pakistan in the final. 

South Africa secured the season 2 title after beating Pakistan in the final.
