The UAE national chess team concluded its participation at the Arab Youth Chess Championship in Cairo, Egypt, with 16 medals including four gold, four silver and eight bronze.
The UAE placed second in the overall standings behind hosts Egypt at the tournament, which attracted more than 400 players from 18 Arab countries and ran from July 28 to August 5.
