Morocco advanced to the quarter-finals of the 2026 FIFA World Cup after defeating Canada 3-0 at Houston Stadium in the opening match of the Round of 16.
Azzedine Ounahi scored twice for Morocco in the 50th and 82nd minutes, before Soufiane Rahimi added a third goal in stoppage time (90+8), securing Morocco’s place in the quarter-finals.
The team will face the winner of the France-Paraguay match, scheduled to be played later.
