Abu Dhabi Sailing Team has confirmed the participation of 16 sailors in the “Mussanah Sailing Week” in the Sultanate of Oman, taking place from October 15 to 21.

The championship, organized by Oman Sail under the supervision of the Oman Sailing Federation, brings together 100 sailors from around the world.

Team Abu Dhabi will compete in four main classes: Optimist Juniors, Optimist Youth, ILCA 4, and ILCA 6, under the supervision of the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Academy, with coaches Patrick Lotomski, Ahmed Tarhan, and Najeeb Khan, and team manager Khalifa Al Saadi.

The team roster includes: Abdulrahman Al Bahri, Alyazia Al Hammadi, Zayed Al Hosani, Hamad Al Muhairi, Thiyab Al Muhairi, Rashid Al Neyadi, Khalifa Al Rumaithi, Marwa Al Hammadi, Abdullah Al Muhairi, Saif Al Zaabi, Abdullah Al Zubaidi, Mohammed Al Hammadi, Thiyab Al Hosani, Abdullah Al Neyadi, Tuprak Kalijian, and Simon Haristov.

Khalifa Al Suwaidi, Director of the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Academy, emphasized that the participation aligns with the strategic plan to develop a new generation of sailors, refine their skills through international competitions, and aim for gold medals.

He expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to Sheikh Mohammed bin Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club and President of the UAE Marine Sports Federation, for his continuous support of marine sports and national talent development programs.
