Sheikh Hamdan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Chairman of the UAE Football Association (UAEFA), congratulated the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, its leadership, and its people on winning the bid to host the 2034 FIFA World Cup.

He affirmed that Saudi Arabia possesses immense capabilities and vast experience that will enable it to organize this international sporting event in the best possible way.

Sheikh Hamdan described the Kingdom's achievement as a victory for Arab sports, and for football in particular. He said, "Saudi Arabia is fully qualified to host the 2034 World Cup, thanks to its accumulated expertise, as well as its human resources capable of organising the largest international events. We are delighted to see the World Cup return to the Arabian Gulf, as our countries are known for coexistence, tolerance, and fields of creativity."

He extended his warmest congratulations to the Saudi Football Federation and the entire Saudi football community on this accomplishment, wishing further success to the Kingdom's sports and its fans.
