The Abu Dhabi Extreme Championship (ADXC 6) returns to the Mubadala Arena on Friday, October 25, promising exciting matchups.

At a press conference on Wednesday, IVSM General Manager, Tareq Al Bahri, praised the support from wise leadership, establishing Abu Dhabi as a global sports hub.

He explained that the championship is characterised by innovative fights that represent the UAE’s vision of promoting martial arts at the global level uniquely, adding that the growing interest in this type of sport at the international level is a strong incentive for the success of the championship through its six editions.

The official fight organiser for the Abu Dhabi Extreme Championship and a member of the organising committee, Mohammed Al Hosani, spoke about the week prior to the ADXC’s, which saw a lot of changes and surprises between players competing to save a spot in the ADXC 6 roster and the organising committee compensating injured athletes and those who wouldn’t be able to take part in the event due to an emergency.

Al Hosani believes that this highlights the strength of the organizing team in finding solutions and making the ADXC 6 a success as planned, noting that the next edition of the tournament will be held in Brazil next November.

The main stars of the show also had time to open up about the road leading to the ADXC 6.

With the attending athletes expressing their happiness to be back fighting in the organization, the Jiu-Jitsu Main Event leads Jansen Gomes and Uanderson Ferreira had a brief exchange that gave us a glimpse into what we can expect come Friday.

A champion in the third edition of the tournament, which took place in Brazil, Jansen Gomes was confident in the conference and said he’s ready to show his skills in the upcoming match.

Meanwhile, the AJP powerhouse Uanderson Ferreira revealed that he’s had a great camp and that they’ll both be fighting for submission inside a cage, meaning there will be nowhere to run.

For the joy of fight fans all over the world, the organisation also revealed the complete fight card for the ADXC 6.

With 15 duels and 10 countries represented in the line-up, the card is officially the biggest in the ADXC’s history and comes as proof of the tournament’s growth since its first edition one year ago.
