BARCELONA (WAM)

Rashid Al Dhaheri is looking to close out his 2024 Formula 4 season with further podium finishes, racing in the Italian F4 and Euro 4 series where he is taking on elite young drivers from around the world.

After his second place at the Red Bull Ring in Austria, just two weeks ago, Al Dhaheri is focused on the next round of the Italian F4 series which takes place at the circuit Barcelona-Catalunya in Spain on September 27, 2024.

After Barcelona he has two further races, both at Monza in Italy on the 4th October (Euro 4) and October 25 (Italian F4), to bring the race season to an end.

In Austria, racing in extremely difficult conditions, Al Dhaheri showed he had the speed and race-craft to beat the best of the world’s up-and-coming drivers.

Italian F4 and Euro 4 are considered to be the most competitive international race formulas with all the drivers looking to achieve the goal of moving into F1.

The races bring together 45 drivers, representing over 20 different countries, racing for 12 teams, with fractions of a second in lap times separating the cars.

Al Dhaheri is currently close to the tops of the drivers’ tables for both the Italian F4 and the Euro 4 series and will look for strong performances in the last three races to push him further up the tables.

Through his career, from karting into single-seat cars, Al Dhaheri has always been a winner, and his impressive form at the Red Bull Ring underlines his potential.
