The UAE Judo Federation has announced that some of the world’s strongest national teams will compete in the Abu Dhabi Grand Slam Judo tournament, which will be held at the Mubadala Arena in Abu Dhabi from October 10-13.

In a press release on Tuesday, the federation revealed that many teams that recently participated in the Paris 2024 Olympics, including France, Britain, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Moldova, and Mongolia, will be present at the event. Other teams, such as Lebanon and the Republic of Congo, will also join the competition.

The UAE judo team is preparing for the tournament with an internal training camp in Abu Dhabi, which includes swimming, running, and weightlifting exercises. This will be followed by the second phase of training at Tokai University in Japan in the last week of September.
