UAE sports officials discussed with the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) ways of cooperation and future areas of interest in sports for people of determination in the world.
This came during a meeting held on Friday in the French capital on the side-lines of the Paris 2024 Summer Paralympic Games, in the presence of Andrew Parsons, President of the International Paralympic Committee, while the UAE delegation was headed, on behalf of Dr. Ahmad Belhoul Al Falasi, Minister of Sports, by Sheikh Suhail Bin Butti Suhail Al Maktoum, Executive Director of the Sports Development Sector at the General Authority of Sport.
Sheikh Suhail bin Butti Al Maktoum expressed the UAE’s welcome to cooperate with the IPC, and its readiness to implement any future initiatives that pay more attention to sports for people of determination, praising the efforts made by the Committee, which were crowned with success in the Paris Paralympic Games 2024.
