The Global Champions Arabians Tour concluded its second stage in Abu Dhabi amidst palpable excitement, as the crème de la crème of Arabian horses vied for supremacy in the championship’s final day. The event, which has quickly become a highlight in the equestrian calendar, saw top contenders from the qualifying rounds in a fierce battle for the coveted top spots.

The stakes were high with participants aiming to maintain their lead on the tour leaderboard, inching closer to the grand prize of €1,000,000 for the leading horse of the year. The competition was particularly intense as many of the frontrunners from the first stage in Doha were determined to defend their positions.

As the tour progresses through its seven stages, the current leaders in the female, male, and handler categories have emerged:

The top female Arabian horses are:
AJ Kayya (Ajman Stud, UAE) – 40 points
D Nafayes (Dubai Arabian Horse Stud, UAE) – 40 points
D Najlah (Dubai Arabian Horse Stud, UAE) – 37 points



The top male Arabian horses are:
D Borkan (Dubai Arabian Horse Stud, UAE) – 37 points
D Shakhar (Dubai Arabian Horse Stud, UAE) – 32 points
Mushwash Al Shaqab (Al Shaqab Stud, Qatar) – 30 points


The top handlers are: Paolo Capecci with 114 points, Glenn Schoukens with 105 points and Raphael Curti with 100 points.

The Global Champions Arabians Tour is an extension of the Global Champions’ initiative, designed to showcase the elegance of Purebred Arabian Horses. The championship takes place across spectacular venues worldwide, offering unprecedented prize money in the sport and promoting a legacy of excellence and integrity.

The tour’s third stage unfolds in Muscat, Oman, an exhilarating continuation of this prestigious equestrian series from March 30 to April 1.
