Kuwait's air defence systems are currently intercepting hostile missile and drone attacks, the General Staff of the Kuwaiti Army announced.
The General Staff said in a statement carried by the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that any explosion sounds heard by the public are the result of air defence systems intercepting hostile projectiles.
It urged everyone to adhere to security and safety instructions issued by all relevant authorities.
