Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Defence announced Thursday the interception and destruction of two ballistic missiles and eight drones.

The announcement was made in brief statements to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) by the ministry through its spokesperson, Major General Turki Al-Malki.

Al-Malki noted that projectiles were targeting the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia.
