Billionaire Elon Musk on Friday confirmed that in the next 6-12 months, Neuralink will be doing the first implants for vision, where even if somebody's completely blind, they'll be able to see. 

He said in a video on social media, that Neuralink already had that working in monkeys. One of the monkeys has had that implant for 3 years.
