Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty discussed over the phone with Minister for Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Syrian Arab Republic Bassam Sabbagh the latest developments in northern Syria, particularly Idlib and Aleppo.

Abdelatty was posted by his Syrian counterpart on the latest consecutive developments in Syria, according to Middle East News Agency (MENA).

Abdelatty said he is very concerned over these developments, asserting Egypt's stance on supporting the Syrian state and its national institutions, in addition to its role in achieving stability and combating terrorism.
