Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, received a phone call on Saturday from Dr. Badr Abdelaaty, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration, and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs of Egypt, Qatar News Agency reported.

The two sides discussed ways to boost their bilateral cooperation between the two countries and ways to support and enhance these ties, as well as the latest developments in the Gaza Strip and Lebanon, particularly facilitating the entry of humanitarian and relief aid into all areas of Gaza without obstacles, as well as several issues of mutual interest.

During the conversation, the Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs reiterated the need for concerted regional and international efforts to de-escalate tensions and avoid further violence in the region.

He emphasised Qatar’s full readiness to do everything possible to promote regional and global security and stability.
