Soaring temperatures in Moscow shattered a 134-year-old record on Tuesday, reaching 32°C, TASS News Agency reported.

The previous record was set in 1890, when the temperature reached 31.9°C, Director of the Hydrometeorological Centre of Russia Roman Vilfand told TASS.

Vilfand added that the temperature reached 33.2°C around 3 pm in some areas.
