KUUMAR SHYAM (ABU DHABI)

UNIFYD, a new music festival curated by Indian actor Shah Rukh Khan, will make its debut at Etihad Live on Yas Island on March 20, bringing together three prominent Indian musicians for a one-day event.

The inaugural festival will feature performances by playback singer Arijit Singh, global Punjabi artist Karan Aujla, and legendary vocalist Sonu Nigam, who will be performing at a music festival for the first time in his career. In total, the lineup will showcase more than 15 artists performing across multiple stages.

The event is produced by D’YAVOL Live and going-out platform District, in collaboration with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi and Miral, and in association with Emirates NBD. The festival is designed as an international event showcasing Indian music and culture for regional and global audiences.

Shah Rukh Khan, serving as curator, shapes the artistic direction and creative vision for the event, bringing his experience in storytelling and global cultural reach to live music production.

Commenting on the launch of UNIFYD, Khan said: "I’ve spent a lifetime telling stories on screen and watching them bring people together. Music has that same extraordinary power. UNIFYD, produced by D'YAVOL Live along with District, will unite India’s most incredible artists on a shared stage for the first time. The festival promises to be a true spectacle in terms of its scale, energy, and grandeur."

Organisers stated that UNIFYD was established on the belief that Indian artists deserve a place on major global stages, combining high-level production with cultural representation.

Tickets for the event will be sold exclusively through the District application, with general sales scheduled to open at 10:30 on October 20.
