AL DHAFRA REGION (ALETIHAD)

Major General Faris Khalaf Al Mazrouei, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority, on Thursday honoured the partners on success of the closing event of the 19th edition of Al Dhafra Festival. 

The recognition was extended to government and private sector sponsors and supporters for their contributions to the success of the festival's events, which were held in Madinat Zayed in Al Dhafra Region and organized by the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority.

The ceremony was attended by representatives of the sponsoring and supporting government and private entities, foremost among them the Ruler's Representative Court in the Al Dhafra Region; Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC); Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority; the Department of Municipalities and Transport – Al Dhafra Region Municipality; Abu Dhabi Police; Tadweer Group; TAQA Distribution; Abu Dhabi Media Network; the Camel Racing Federation; the Abu Dhabi Falconers Club; Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council; Al Dhafra Hospitals; the General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments; and Al Dahra Agricultural Company.

A number of participating entities presented interactive programmes targeting visitors from citizens, residents and their families, as well as tourists who travel to the Al Dhafra Region to enjoy its landmarks and natural beauty. 

This reflects these entities' commitment to authentic Emirati heritage, alongside enhancing community awareness of the partners' services. The support provided by these entities had a significant impact on achieving the festival's objectives and contributed to its outstanding success and distinction.
