Einaudi’s breakout album Le Onde (1996) brought him international fame; this was followed up by Una Mattina (2004), featuring his most-streamed piece “Nuvole Bianche”; Divenire (2006); and the ambitious seven-part project Seven Days Walking (2019).
Einaudi has composed music for more than 30 films and TV series. Notable works include scores for the Oscars, BAFTAs, and Golden Globe-winning films “Nomadland” and “The Father”, the French blockbuster “The Intouchables”, and the film and TV series “This Is England”.
He won an Italian award for Best Film Score for “Luce dei miei occhi” in 2002.
