Al Ain (ALETIHAD)
Roming international troupes bring cheerful musical performances to Al Ain Square - Hazza bin Zayed Stadium, offering an immersive cultural and entertainment journey to visitors of Al Ain Book Festival 2025, organised by the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre (ALC) from November 24-30.
Participating bands present a diverse repertoire that spans global rhythms, from classical to folk pieces, allowing children to experience musical styles from around the world.
Beyond the performances, the shows include contests and educational games that encourage children to interact and participate, broadening their horizons and enabling them to develop creative and social skills.
Across the festival grounds, children experiment with playing percussion patterns on instruments, as well as ensemble performances, while interacting with musicians.
Short workshops foster artistic sensibility among participating children and teach them the musical basics in engaging ways.
As the roaming ensembles move through the venue, melodies and laughter fill the squares.
The bands also offer children opportunities to discover multiple cultures through music and art, expanding their understanding and cultivating an appreciation of the arts from an early age.
The Festival presents a range of cultural and educational activities alongside the musical performances – from drawing workshops to reading and storytelling sessions – reinforcing its role as a comprehensive platform that blends culture, entertainment, and education.
This integrated experience allows children to learn new skills and engage with the arts in enjoyable and appealing ways, while their parents watch them discover their talents and enrich their culture.
With these initiatives, Al Ain Book Festival 2025 continues to strengthen its position as one of the UAE’s leading cultural events, bringing together music, art, educational and recreational activities to create a vibrant experience for children and their families.
