ABU DHABI (ALETIHAD)

Abu Dhabi Grand Prix weekend just shifted up a gear with the announcement that superstar DJ and producer Calvin Harris will headline the official after-party on Saturday, December 6.

The “Summer” hitmaker, who will be playing at the Garden on Yas, W Abu Dhabi, joins a star-studded line-up across the Yasalam entertainment programme.

The second big announcement is that Berlin collective KeineMusik makes its long-awaited UAE return, and will set the Yas Gateway Park alight on Friday, December 5.

This is in addition to the other massive after-race concerts being staged at Etihad Park, which will host the likes of Benson Boone (December 4), Post Malone with Elyanna (December 5), Metallica (December 6) and Katy Perry (December 7).

Scottish DJ Harris’ set forms part of a new collaboration with Ushuaïa Ibiza - the world-famous nightlife brand known for its open-air performances and mind-blowing stage design.

Together, Yasalam and Ushuaïa are set to transform Yas Island into an international nightlife hotspot for the weekend.

KeineMusik will ignite the festivities at 10.30pm on the Friday, with their unique blend of techno and deep house, with touches of hip-hop, electronica and Afrobeats, surging into the early hours of Saturday.

The show is promoted by Brag, in partnership with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi and Miral, the leading creator of immersive destinations and experiences in Abu Dhabi.

Founded in 2009 in Berlin, Keinemusik is a collective music label consisting of DJs and producers Adam Port, &ME, Rampa, and Reznik.

Today, KeineMusik has grown into a global movement, captivating music lovers across the world with tracks like “Move”, their 2023 release with Stryv featuring Malachiii and Orso, and Adam Port’s “You Are Safe”, produced with the crew.

They have also teamed up with major names, including house icon Black Coffee, with whom they released “The Rapture Pt.III” in 2017.
The collective has played hundreds of shows across more than 60 countries. They’ve lit up the stages of Coachella, Tomorrowland, and delivered unforgettable moments at landmark locations like the Giza Pyramids in Egypt, with their upcoming Abu Dhabi show set to raise the bar even higher.

David Powell, Chief Strategy & Business Development Officer at Ethara, said: “We continue to transform Yasalam into a multi-faceted entertainment experience that goes far beyond the track with KeineMusik and Calvin Harris keeping the party going for fans. Bringing such a figurehead of modern music in Calvin Harris and partnering with Ushuaïa Ibiza elevates our fan offering even further.”
