The TRENDS International Training Institute (TITI) discussed with Johns Hopkins University - School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) ways of strengthening academic collaboration and developing specialised training programs tailored to the evolving needs of the labour market.

During the meeting, emphasis was placed on exploring the possibility of offering innovative academic and training programs that reflect the latest global trends, particularly in priority areas such as digital transformation, artificial intelligence, economic issues, cybersecurity, and sustainability.

Both sides underscored the importance of establishing a long-term strategic partnership to enhance knowledge, develop regional competencies, and provide outstanding educational opportunities for young professionals.

Sultan Al-Rubaei, Director of the TRENDS International Training Institute, expressed his delight at engaging with Johns Hopkins University, one of the world’s leading academic institutions. He highlighted the significance of the partnership between TRENDS and the University as a crucial step in the Institute’s efforts toward achieving TRENDS’ vision of becoming a beacon for academic excellence and specialised training. He noted the Institute’s commitment to developing joint programs that equip Emirati talents to face future challenges.

The Johns Hopkins University team welcomed the collaboration, emphasising the value of knowledge exchange between the two institutions.
