KHALED AL KHAWALEDH (ABU DHABI)

In an exciting development for Abu Dhabi’s culinary scene, sporting legends Rafael Nadal and Cristiano Ronaldo are gearing up to introduce their esteemed fine dining Italian restaurant, TOTÓ Abu Dhabi.

Slated to open its doors to all on April 1, TOTÓ Abu Dhabi promises to offer patrons a dining experience infused with the charm and allure of 1950s Italian cinema, paying homage to the iconic film “Cinema Paradiso”.

Originally launched in Madrid, TOTÓ quickly gained popularity as a go-to destination for celebrities and discerning food enthusiasts thanks to its star-power backing and a menu inspired by traditional Italian recipes infused with contemporary culinary techniques.

The new restaurant is set to join an array of other options along the Mamsha Al Saadiyat coastline, which is quickly becoming a hotspot for fine dining in the capital. Guests can look forward to signature dishes with beach views, including clay pot casseroles, sumptuous pasta creations, and meats and seafood prepared in a wood-fired oven.

Looking ahead, TOTÓ is set to expand its presence to Dubai, with plans to open its doors at Hotel Boulevard, Autograph Collection in Downtown Dubai later this spring. It will also open up alongside the duos other acclaimed restaurant Tatel, a Spanish Mediterranean joint with daily live entertainment. It was launched in Madrid in 2014 and has since expanded since into Ibiza, Beverly Hills, and Riyadh.
