In a spectacular start to the Saadiyat Nights concert series, Mariah Carey, the multi-Grammy Award-winning singer mesmerised a packed audience in Abu Dhabi even as the organisers announced more additions to the upcoming programme.

The record-breaking American songwriter and producer held the stage throughout the sold-out show with electric performances. She rendered out her popular numbers such as “It’s Like That”, “Emotions”, “Shake It Off”, and “Hero”, while also engaging with fans and creating an immersive musical experience.

Set in a specially constructed open-air venue with a breathtaking backdrop of Saadiyat Island vistas, the three-month Saadiyat Nights concert series has been carefully curated to bring together a diverse lineup of artists, ensuring an array of captivating experiences over the course of the event.

Following the electrifying start will be other popular icons such as popular Iranian performer Googoosh on 20 January and Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli on the next Saturday.

In a fresh announcement, the series has now two additions. Heading to the picturesque island in Abu Dhabi will be the global best-selling artist Sting on February 3 and Lebanese icon Magida Al Roumi on February 10.

Renowned British singer-songwriter Sting is known for captivating audiences worldwide, and Abu Dhabi attendees can look forward to global hits such as “Englishman in New York” and “Desert Rose”.
