Gold prices held steady on Wednesday, with spot gold trading at $4,356.92 per ounce by 00:40 GMT.
US gold futures for December delivery rose 0.4% to $4,394.90 per ounce.
Among other precious metals, spot silver climbed 0.4% to $67.37 per ounce, platinum rose 0.3% to $1,837.80, and palladium increased 0.3% to $1,311.40.
