Gold edged higher on Friday, supported by lower oil prices and a subdued US dollar.
Spot gold rose 0.3 percent to $4,352.60 per ounce as of 00:50 GMT, while US gold futures for December delivery fell 0.2 percent to 4,391.60.
Among other precious metals, spot silver rose 0.7 percent to $65.64 per ounce, platinum gained 0.9 percent to $1,785.55, and palladium added 0.1 percent to US$1,292.47.
