Dubai Police welcomed a delegation from Abu Dhabi Police as part of an institutional benchmarking visit focused on governance and compliance, highlighting its leadership in corporate governance and internationally recognised best practices.

The delegation was received by Brigadier Mohammad Atiq Thani, Director of the Organisational Office of the Commander in Chief and General Supervisor of Governance and Compliance at Dubai Police.

The visiting delegation was headed by Colonel Dr Mansour Al Khayili, Deputy Director of the Governance and Risk Management Department at Abu Dhabi Police.

During the visit, the delegation reviewed Dubai Police’s corporate governance and compliance framework, including its institutional governance maturity model, the smart programmes supporting governance processes, and the methodology used to measure the effectiveness of oversight and control activities.

The delegation also explored Dubai Police’s institutional leadership in governance, together with the international awards the force has received in governance and compliance.

The visit is part of ongoing efforts by both police forces to strengthen institutional partnerships, exchange knowledge and expertise, and continue developing governance and compliance systems in line with international best practices.
