ABU DHABI (ALETIHAD)

Zuvees, the UAE-based gifting platform, has raised Dh5.9 million ($1.6 million) from IvyCap Ventures, taking its Series A fundraiser to Dh12 million ($3.3 million).

The Dubai-based company said in a statement it is targeting a total Series A raise of Dh22 million to Dh29 million ($6 million to $8 million) to support its next phase of growth, strengthen its technology stack, expand into leading global metropolitan markets and advance its vision of building the world’s most trusted gifting platform.

Founded by Vijay Ghadge and Abhishek Daiya, Zuvees offers same-day and 60-minute express delivery of curated flowers, luxury hampers and personalised gift experiences across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Ajman.

Launched commercially in the UAE in early 2025, the company said it has achieved an annualised revenue run-rate exceeding $3 million. It serves customers across more than 50 countries, with a significant share of orders originating from international senders gifting across borders.

Zuvees said the newly raised capital will be used to expand its operational footprint, scale its AI-powered personalisation and recommendation engine, strengthen its proprietary supply-chain infrastructure and deepen its customer intelligence and CRM capabilities.

The company said it is building what it calls “Gifting 3.0”, combining expert curation, artificial intelligence and rapid fulfilment to make gifting more personalised, transparent and reliable.

Vijay Ghadge, Co-Founder and CEO of Zuvees, said gifting is not simply about flowers, chocolates or hampers, but about emotion.

“The biggest challenge in gifting today is expectation mismatch. What the sender imagines, what the platform promises, and what the recipient ultimately receives are often three very different things,” Ghadge said.

He said Zuvees is built around eliminating that gap through innovations such as video approval before dispatch, quality assurance systems and customer-first guarantees.

Abhishek Daiya, Co-Founder and CPO/CFO of Zuvees, said the next generation of gifting companies will be powered by intelligence rather than catalogues. “Our goal is to become the trusted layer between human emotions and meaningful gifting experiences,” Daiya said.

Vikram Gupta, Founder and Managing Partner of IvyCap Ventures, said Zuvees addresses a global consumer need through a technology-led platform.

“As gifting becomes increasingly cross-border, the company is uniquely positioned to deliver trusted, personalised experiences at scale,” Gupta said.
