Aldar has announced the launch of The Orchids at Yas Acres, a gated residential community on Yas Island designed for modern family living.
The development will comprise 217 homes, including two- and three-bedroom townhouses and three-, four- and five-bedroom villas, according to a statement issued by the company.
The homes have been designed to balance privacy, functionality and connection to the outdoors, with generous layouts, private gardens and spaces suited to everyday family living, the statement said.
The Orchids will benefit from the wider Yas Acres masterplan amenities, including Yas Acres Golf and Country Club, which has been a focal point of the community since opening in 2021.
The statement said the community will also benefit from proximity to international schools, including Noya British School and Yas American Academy.
Residents will have access to Yas Island’s leisure and entertainment destinations, including Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi, SeaWorld Abu Dhabi, Yas Mall, Yas Links and Yas Marina Circuit. The statement also cited the upcoming Disney Abu Dhabi and Sphere Abu Dhabi as additions that will further expand the island’s entertainment offering.
Aldar said Yas Acres is a well-established community known for its amenities and family-friendly lifestyle at the centre of Yas Island. The company said this appeal is reflected in resident feedback, with Yas Acres achieving a Net Promoter Score of +49 for the living experience, which is considered to be in the “excellent” range.
Residents consistently cited safety, greenery and a strong sense of community as key reasons for recommending the community to others, the statement said.
At the heart of The Orchids will be a 500-square-metre community club, featuring a gym, multipurpose hall and shared spaces for residents to gather and connect. The club will be complemented by a park, swimming pools for children and adults, sports courts, landscaped green spaces and shaded outdoor areas, according to the statement.
Aldar said homes at The Orchids have been designed around the needs of modern family living. The gated setting and scale of the community are intended to create an environment where neighbours connect, children move freely and families benefit from both the privacy of home and the wider sense of community associated with Yas Acres.
Townhouses at The Orchids will be available for sale from June 24, 2026, while a limited number of villas will be released in a future phase, the statement said.
