ABU DHABI (ALETIHAD)
The Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ADCCI) has announced the signing of a strategic cooperation agreement with Presight (a G42 Company), a global leader in applied AI for intelligent systems.
The partnership aims to establish a strategic framework to scale the adoption of agentic AI across Abu Dhabi’s small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) ecosystem.
Announced during a signing ceremony attended by dignitaries from Abu Dhabi, the agreement directly supports the goals of the national programme to accelerate industrial capability, strengthen national supply chains, and empower SMEs as engines of sustainable economic growth.
Presight will deliver agentic AI capabilities to ADCCI’s network of more than 102,000 registered SMEs. The initiative is initially being piloted with an initial cohort of enterprises, with a structured roadmap to scale deployment across the broader SME base.
The programme will enable SMEs to embed operational intelligence directly into their business processes, enhancing productivity, optimising decision-making, and strengthening competitiveness.
In Abu Dhabi, SMEs make up about 98 per cent of the emirate’s businesses, employ 46 per cent of the workforce, and contribute 42.8 per cent to the non-oil GDP.
Ali Mohamad Al Marzooqi, Director General of ADCCI, said: “Abu Dhabi is recognised as the leading SME ecosystem in the MENA region, and has firmly established itself as a leading hub for innovation and the adoption of advanced technologies and cultivates the future of businesses. While SMEs play a major role in global economies, they are a core foundation of Abu Dhabi’s economic strength and future resilience.
"By enabling access to agentic AI at scale, in partnership with Presight, we are supporting our members to evolve, adapt, and contribute to a stronger, more diversified economy aligned with the UAE’s industrial vision.”
The deployment will be underpinned by Presight’s sovereign AI systems to deliver scalable and secure capabilities tailored to SME environments. Through Presight’s delivery model, agentic systems will be embedded into day-to-day operations, enabling autonomous workflows, real-time decision support, and continuous optimisation.
Thomas Pramotedham, Chief Executive Officer of Presight, said: “Abu Dhabi and the UAE are committed to supporting businesses to emerge stronger with resilience, and our partnership with the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry brings that vision into operation at scale. Together, we are embedding agentic intelligence into the daily operations of more than 102,000 businesses, the procurement decisions, compliance workflows, and logistics systems that define real economic performance. This is where applied intelligence moves beyond technology and becomes infrastructure for growth.”
As part of its commitment to delivering tangible value to its members, the ADCCI will offer registered SMEs access to the programme at preferential rates, ensuring that the benefits of agentic AI are both accessible and aligned with the diverse needs of Abu Dhabi’s business community.
As Abu Dhabi advances its position as a global hub for advanced industry, the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry contributes significantly to this partnership in its role as a central platform for the private sector – establishing a scalable channel for deployment, ensuring that advanced AI capabilities are accessible, governed, and aligned with national priorities.
Presight invites SMEs interested in joining this programme and developing agentic AI solutions within their business operations to register their interest.
