ABU DHABI (ALETIHAD)

NMDC Group will showcase its national-scale industrial capabilities at the Make it in the Emirates 2026, where it is participating as an Enablement Partner, the company said in a statement.

The event is scheduled to take place from May 4 to 7 at the ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi.

The group said its participation will demonstrate how its integrated platform across energy, dredging and marine, infrastructure, logistics and technical services is creating national value through complex project delivery, stronger domestic supply chains and advanced capability building.

Visitors to NMDC Group’s stand at the IHC pavilion will be able to explore the company’s end-to-end capabilities across strategic sectors. These are supported by a fleet of more than 170 marine assets, over 480 land equipment units and a workforce of around 25,000 people operating across regional and international markets.

The company also highlighted its growing investment in technology, noting that it has developed more than 70 AI-enabled applications across its operations, alongside ongoing talent development and Emiratisation programmes.

As part of its showcase, NMDC Dredging & Marine will unveil the region’s first hydraulic physical modelling test facility, the NMDC Coastal & Hydrodynamic Center, aimed at enabling in-country validation of coastal and marine engineering projects. The facility is designed to support simulation and physical testing of complex infrastructure under controlled conditions, improving efficiency and cost control.

NMDC Energy will present its fabrication and EPC capabilities through its facilities in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, which together offer more than 2.1 million square metres of fabrication space and an annual capacity exceeding 100,000 metric tonnes. The company will also highlight its use of robotics, AI-enabled safety systems and smart yard technologies.

NMDC Infra will showcase its role in construction, precast manufacturing and digital delivery, including 3D printing solutions and marine sustainability applications such as artificial reef structures. It will also highlight its contributions to transport, utilities, industrial and urban development projects, along with partnerships supporting future growth.

Meanwhile, NMDC LTS will demonstrate its marine chartering, towing, logistics and technical support services, supported by one of the region’s largest marine support networks.

The NMDC Group stand will be located at the IHC pavilion in Hall 5.

Headquartered in Abu Dhabi, NMDC Group has more than 50 years of experience in engineering, procurement and construction, as well as marine dredging and construction. The company reported a backlog of Dh57.3 billion as of the first quarter of 2026.
