ABU DHABI (ALETIHAD)

Khalifa Economic Zones Abu Dhabi (KEZAD) Group has signed an agreement with Q Mobility, a subsidiary of ADQ, to develop and manage advanced parking solutions across KEZAD Mussafah, including a new 84,000 square metre truck-parking facility in ICAD I.

The facility will be designed to enable efficient and uninterrupted truck movement in the area, while Q Mobility will also oversee on-street parking across ICAD I, II and III, as well as Rahayel Automotive City.

The initiative aims to optimise traffic flow, decongest heavy and light vehicle traffic, and offer dedicated options for large fleet owners operating within KEZAD.

In addition to enhancing mobility, the agreement envisions value-added services and amenities to improve the overall user experience, and integrate KEZAD’s parking infrastructure into the wider Abu Dhabi environment.

“As KEZAD continues to welcome world-class local and international businesses into its ecosystems, there is an impending need to streamline parking spaces to help cater to the growing traffic needs within our zones,” said Abdullah Al Hameli, CEO of Economic Cities & Free Zones, AD Ports Group.

“Teaming up with Q Mobility, we are assured of the best opportunity to explore the development of sustainable and integrated solutions that support the emirate’s growth and development as part of Abu Dhabi’s vision.”

Mohamed Hussein Karmastaji, CEO of Q Mobility, described the agreement as “a key milestone in our ongoing efforts to enhance and integrate parking services across the emirate of Abu Dhabi.”

He added that the partnership reflects Q Mobility’s commitment to delivering “smart and sustainable mobility solutions” and introducing integrated services that align with Abu Dhabi’s sustainable urban development goals.

According to KEZAD, the collaboration will ensure reliable and hassle-free parking and traffic management services within its rapidly growing industrial and commercial zones, supporting both operational efficiency and user satisfaction.
