DUBAI (WAM)

The Financial Audit Authority has announced that it is participating in the 44th edition of GITEX Global 2024, which will be held from October 14-18 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

The Authority's participation in GITEX is part of its strategies aimed at implementing the latest technologies and smart improvements to build strong foundations for auditing.

At GITEX, the Financial Audit Authority will present three new digital services aimed at enhancing the management of public funds.

One of these is the Al Mo’ashir Dashboard, a central platform designed to provide analyses and insights through key data and indicators derived from the Financial Audit Authority’s auditing activities.

It displays the status of each governmental and semi-governmental entity under audit.

The Al Mo’ashir Dashboard aggregates information from various applications, databases, and internal systems used by the Authority in its auditing processes, covering operations, compliance, performance, financial data, and financial and administrative criminal violations.

The Authority is also launching the Financial Violations Reporting Platform as an essential part of its mission to provide innovative, value-added professional audit services.

This platform is designed to facilitate the reporting of financial and administrative violations by entities under its supervision.

Moreover, the Authority has introduced a Legislative Platform, which is well-organised and equipped with a powerful search engine.

This is considered a promising step in transforming the auditing process by significantly improving efficiency, accuracy, and comprehensiveness.

The platform provides easy access to essential legislative texts covering multiple categories, making it an indispensable tool for auditors and legal professionals.

Executive Director of the Corporate Support Sector at the Financial Audit Authority in Dubai, Amir Ali Al Gergawi, said, "We join this international event out of our commitment to improving and developing our digital services and staying informed on best practices in the field of artificial intelligence, which contributes to enhancing our technological practices in modern digital fields."

"We aim to make a significant leap in utilising technology and artificial intelligence in the governmental auditing and oversight sector. We leverage the technological innovations presented at GITEX to strengthen governance efforts and ensure the protection and sustainability of public funds."
