Etihad Airways unveiled its latest branded plane on Thursday at an event held at Warner Brothers World in Abu Dhabi.

The latest in a collection of branded planes, which include partnerships with brands like Formula One and Manchester City, will see beloved Warner Brothers characters like Superman, Bugs Bunny and Tom and Jerry line an Etihad jetliner.

The plane will take off to Rome on Saturday in a maiden journey.

The branded flight will extend beyond the livery, offering Warner Brothers themed meals, toys, and entertainment. |

As part of the airline's brand and marketing strategy, the unique plane is meant to help attract tourism to the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.

"Etihad is partnering with Abu Dhabi companies in the tourism industry because we are the first touchpoint bringing visitors to Abu Dhabi. So, we are part of that ecosystem, and we play a role in bringing visitors to Abu Dhabi," Turky Al Hammadi, Director of Product and Hospitality at Etihad Airways, told Aletihad following the event.

"I think that everyone here is committed to creating remarkable family experiences. We couldn't think of a better partner than Warner Brothers, who are subject matter experts in immersive and family experiences."
