Turkey says China's BYD signs deal to open factory

China's electric vehicle giant BYD on Monday signed an agreement with Turkey's industry and technology ministry to open a plant in the country, the government announced.

According to the Turkish ministry, BYD will open a production facility with an annual capacity of 150,000 vehicles and a research and development centre, with an approximately one-billion-dollar investment.
