Further strengthening its global destination network, Etihad Airways plans to add 6 new locations to its current roster of 69 destinations by the end of June. Passengers will have the ability to travel to four new European destinations, in addition to one new American city and one new African destination.

Starting March 31, Etihad passengers can plan their trips to Boston, located in the northeastern United States, and the Kenyan capital, Nairobi, starting from May 1.

In the summer, flights to Malaga, Spain will commence June 2 with three weekly flights.Starting June 15, the airline will operate two weekly flights to Santorini, Greece, as well as Nice, France. Just a few days later, starting June 17, two weekly flights to Mykonos, Greece will commence operation.

The airline’s current destinations include 15 cities in the Indian subcontinent: Mumbai, Delhi, Lahore, Malé, Hyderabad, Islamabad, Colombo, Karachi, and Kochi. In the Asia and Australia region, the carrier operates flights to 14 destinations, including Sydney, Bangkok, Beijing, Jakarta, Manila, Osaka, Melbourne, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Phuket, Seoul, and Tokyo. In Europe, it currently serves 22 destinations, set to increase to 26 by summer, including Amsterdam, Athens, Barcelona, Brussels, Frankfurt, Geneva, Istanbul, London, Madrid, Munich, Moscow, and others. In the Middle East and Africa, the airline operates flights to 14 cities, including Cairo, Amman, Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Kuwait, Muscat, Doha, Bahrain, Beirut, Casablanca, Johannesburg, and other destinations.

In North America, the carrier serves 4 current destinations: New York, Chicago, Toronto, and Washington D.C.

Etihad Airways transported around 13 million passengers in 2023, reflecting a 30% increase from 2022.

The growth trajectory is expected to continue with the 2030 plan, with the carrier aiming to transport 33 million passengers by 2030.
